Flick recommends that the garden area is sprayed and any visible nest holes injected. We have two alternatives to treat internally- either a spray application or a gel formulation.

There is a lot of fine loose powder dust from the skirting boards, could the be termites or woodborers?

Fine powder may indicate the presence of wood borer, but find sand granules would likely be due to the small black ants.

Rats are active at night and will run across the ceiling. Rats don’t normally run through your ceiling during the day.

I see small and big bugs in the kitchen cupboards and pantry. Do we have to unpack the cupboards for treatment to be applied?

For any spray application undertaken in kitchen cupboards, we recommend that any cutlery, crockery and open food stuffs to be removed during the application.

We do also have a gel bait we can apply, which doesn’t require anything to be removed from the cupboards.

The severity of the infestation will determine which treatment is most appropriate and whether cupboards will require unpacking.
